After moving to Australia from the UK on a permanent basis in 1991, Yvette’s career has been based solely working in law. Previously working as a paralegal, Yvette decided to take the next step and embark on her studies to become a solicitor. In 2019, Yvette was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and continued her extensive involvement in Children’s Care and Protection matters, as well as some Family Law matters, appearing predominantly in the Children’s Court and the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia both in Parramatta, attending mediation conferences and instructing Counsel in hearings.
In 2022, Yvette moved away from the Court room and now practises in conveyancing, leasing, commercial and business matters, estate planning, estate administration and strata by-laws. Living at the foot of the Blue Mountains for over 25 years, Yvette has embraced Katoomba and enjoys meeting with and helping her clients and navigating through the varied matters that come across her desk. Yvette’s friendly nature and down-to-earth approach helps put her clients at ease when discussing their legal requirements, particularly discussing difficult topics such as those related to estate planning and estate administration.
In her free time, Yvette loves researching her family tree, trivia and true crime podcasts and is passionate about 80s pop music.

Sophie commenced her legal career as a legal secretary and paralegal, gaining valuable practical experience before completing her Bachelor of Laws at Charles Sturt University. She was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in December 2024.
Sophie has a strong passion for family law and is committed to achieving positive outcomes for her clients during what is often one of the most challenging periods of their lives. She is dedicated to protecting and advancing her clients’ rights and interests, while providing clear, practical advice and compassionate support throughout the legal process.
Her experience spans a broad range of family law matters, including parenting disputes, where she has represented mothers, fathers, and grandparents, as well as complex financial and property settlement matters. Sophie understands that every family situation is unique and takes a tailored approach to helping clients navigate their circumstances with confidence and clarity.
In addition to her family law practice, Sophie has a keen interest in estate planning and criminal law, allowing her to assist clients across a diverse range of legal matters.
Outside of the office, Sophie enjoys spending quality time with family and friends. A devoted animal lover, she can often be found caring for her cat, Coco, and her dog, Toby.

Annie is a Paralegal at Benetatos White Solicitors, where she predominantly supports the Family Law team while also providing assistance across a broad range of matters within the practice. As one of the firm’s first points of contact, she combines a client-focused approach with legal support skills.
Born in Katoomba and raised in London, England, Annie holds a High Distinction Bachelor of Science (Honours) from City, St George’s University of London in International Politics and Sociology. Bringing in a strong interest in law, social justice, and community advocacy her academic background has helped sparked a strong interest in human rights, social justice and community advocacy, shaping her understanding of the broader social context to which legal issues arise.
Alongside her legal work, Annie has been involved in charitable and community-focused engagement and initiatives working in Non-Governmental Organisations. Gaining extensive experience in operations management across the UK and Australia, Annie is planning to undertake further legal studies.
